REQUESTING A MASS INTENTION

Requesting a Mass Intention is a meaningful way to spiritually honor or remember a loved one, whether living or now in their eternal home.  You may request a Mass online, or by contacting one of our church offices.

We are now offering an electronic system, allowing you to see which Mass times are available and to reserve Masses. This tool, Mass Intentions Online, will enable you to more easily and quickly schedule intentions on your computer or mobile device.

Offerings

A donation is not required to reserve a Mass Intention. However, our churches gratefully accept any donations made to support Masses. The typical offering is $10 per intention. You may also add the processing fee at checkout, to save the transaction costs for our Pastorate. An additional donation may be made, and your generosity is appreciated. If you would like to make an offering via credit or debit card, please use the online scheduler linked above.  If you prefer to make the offering by cash or check, please call the church office listed above for where the Mass will be held.  If you cannot make an offering at this time, please call the office for assistance in scheduling your intention without payment.

Guidelines

So that all faithful may have an equitable opportunity to schedule Masses for loved ones, we have limitations on the number of intentions available. Each household may schedule no more than 12 Masses per household each year, and no more than three per quarter. We also ask that you do not schedule consecutive Masses, so that parishioners desiring a Mass for a certain season will not be excluded.

Step-By-Step Instructions for Mass Intentions Online

1. Calendar: View the schedule of available Masses, and click on your desired selection. Available Masses are clickable TEAL buttons. Unavailable Masses are GRAY and unclickable.
2. Enter Mass Details: Share the name and reason for your intention, using the "Notes" section to provide guidance on pronunciation of any names as needed.
3. Follow Prompts and Complete Fields: Follow the on-screen prompts and complete the fields with your information.
4. Submit Payment: Click Pay Now to enter the payment portal and click Complete Purchase when ready. 
5. Email Confirmation: You will receive an email notification that your request has been received and is awaiting approval (staff must approve your intention(s) to complete the process). Once a staff member reviews and processes the request, you will receive a confirmation and payment receipt. We will contact you if we have any questions.
